The Lasco 437131 (often shown as 437-131) is a Schedule 40 PVC reducer bushing that steps down from a 1" hub/socket fitting to 3/4" PVC pipe. The 1" spigot end is designed to glue into the socket of a 1" PVC fitting (tee, coupling, valve, etc.), while the 3/4" slip (socket) end accepts 3/4" PVC pipe for a solvent-weld connection.

Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Deburr and chamfer pipe ends before gluing to help prevent wiping cement out of the joint during assembly.
- Use the correct primer/cement and follow cure-time guidance before pressurizing (temperature and humidity affect cure time).
- Keep sockets and pipe ends clean and dry for the strongest solvent-weld bond.
- Use pipe supports to reduce vibration and stress near equipment pads and valves.
- If you expect future equipment removal, add a union nearby to avoid cutting pipe later.
