Installation Instructions

  • Turn off the pump and relieve pressure in the filter system.
  • Remove the old gauge from the filter housing or adapter port.
  • Apply thread sealant or approved tape to the ¼″ MPT threads of the new gauge.
  • Screw the new gauge into place and tighten until flush—do not over-tighten.
  • Restore the system, run the pump, and check that the gauge reads correctly under normal operating pressure.

Troubleshooting

  • No pressure reading: Verify the pump is circulating, the filter tank is closed and the gauge is installed in the correct port.
  • Gauge does not move or reads erratically: Ensure there is no debris or blockage into the gauge port, and that the gauge housing is not damaged.
  • Leaks at gauge fitting: Remove gauge, reapply thread sealant or tape, and ensure proper torque when reinstalling.

Maintenance Tip

Check the gauge reading each time you service the filter. Replace the gauge if the pointer sticks, the dial face fogs, or if the reading appears inconsistent compared to past clean/tank routine benchmarks. An accurate pressure gauge helps you decide when backwashing or cleaning is needed—saving time and prolonging equipment life.

  • Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

  • Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
  • Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
  • We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

  • If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
