How the Fluidmaster Automatic Fill Valve Works
The Fluidmaster 400A uses a mechanical float to monitor water level. When the water drops below the adjusted level, the valve opens to allow additional water to enter. As the water rises, the float activates the shutoff mechanism to stop the incoming water.
This mechanical design provides automatic water-level regulation without the need for electronic controls.
