Key to Cleaner's Movement

Every wheeled vehicle or gadget requires a mechanism to enable movement, and in many cases, this comes from a driveshaft. However, this particular shaft derives its power from the turbine located at its end. Above the turbine is a cover with elbows that channel the high-pressure water coming from the feed mast and hose, directing it to the turbine. This process generates a rotating power that is transferred to the wheels, enabling the cleaner to traverse the pool's surface, efficiently suctioning and removing dirt and debris.

Durable Construction

The shaft is constructed from metal, while the turbine at its end is black. These distinct colors make both parts easy to identify when examining the cleaner's internals. The shaft is situated near the cleaner's center, nestled into the frame and shielded by the turbine cover and turbine shaft shield. These protective covers need to be removed to access the shaft for replacement or repair.
