Applications & Compatibility
This bulkhead assembly is designed for use in Jandy filtration systems where the original bulkhead or seal has become worn or leaking. Ideal for CV and CL cartridge filters (340, 460, 580 sizes) and DEV/DEL D.E. filters (48, 60 sizes). Verify your filter model number before purchasing.
Installation Instructions
- Shut off the pump and relieve pressure in the filter system before servicing.
- Remove the filter tank lid or clamp and disconnect plumbing as needed to access the bulkhead.
- Remove the old bulkhead and clean the tank face, inspect the tank wall for cracks or damage.
- Position the new R0465600 assembly, ensure the O-ring is seated properly and threads align cleanly, then tighten to factory torque specifications.
- Reinstall the tank lid/clamp, restore pump operation and check carefully for any leaks at the bulkhead connection.
Troubleshooting
- Leak at bulkhead seam: Confirm the O-ring is properly seated, clean sealing surfaces, and ensure the bulkhead is tightened correctly.
- Bypass or poor filtration performance: Check that the bulkhead assembly is correctly installed and that internal filter elements are properly seated.
- Cracks or deformation around tank wall: Inspect tank wall for damage — replacing the bulkhead will not fix structural tank issues.

Inspect the bulkhead connection annually during filter servicing. If you notice signs of leakage, corrosion, or looseness, consider replacing with the R0465600 to maintain system integrity. Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
