Installation Notes
- Turn off power to the pump at the breaker before opening the pump lid.
- Remove the lid, lift out the old basket, and rinse any debris from the strainer pot.
- Set the 319-1430B basket fully into place so it sits flat and does not rock.
- Inspect and clean the lid O-ring; lubricate lightly with pool-safe silicone lubricant if needed.
- Reinstall the lid, restore power, and confirm the pump primes normally with no air leaks.
Maintenance Tip
Empty and rinse the basket regularly during heavy debris seasons. A clean basket improves flow and reduces strain on the pump, which can help prevent overheating, seal wear, and premature motor issues.
