When to Clean or Replace
- Clean the cartridge when filter pressure rises about 8–10 PSI over your clean starting pressure.
- Replace the cartridge if pleats are torn, bands are broken, end caps are cracked, or performance stays poor after deep cleaning.
- If flow remains weak after cleaning, inspect for scale/oils on the media and perform a proper soak/degrease cycle.
Installation Notes
- Install on a level equipment pad with adequate clearance above the lid for cartridge removal.
- Use properly supported plumbing to prevent stress on unions and tank ports.
- After startup, bleed air using the air relief and confirm the pressure gauge reads a stable clean pressure baseline.
- Verify all unions and drain fittings are watertight before leaving the system running unattended.
Installation and Maintenance Tips
- Rinse the cartridge thoroughly from top to bottom between pleats; rotate the element to clean evenly.
- Deep clean periodically to remove oils (body oils/sunscreen) and scale; rinse fully before reinstalling.
- Inspect lid and drain O-rings each service and lubricate lightly with pool-safe silicone lubricant.
- Record your clean starting pressure—this is the best indicator of when cleaning is needed.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
