This union is engineered for installation at pump volutes or suction ports where heat buildup is common, especially if the pump is starved of water flow. The design helps prevent thread cracking and seal failure during hot operation and allows future pump servicing without cutting pipe or using thread sealants.
Installation Tip: Screw the threaded end into the pump port and glue the slip end into the PVC plumbing. Apply a small amount of pool-rated lubricant on the O‑ring for easier assembly and to ensure a tight, leak-free seal. Inspect the O‑ring and union nut periodically for wear and replace as needed to maintain performance.

- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
