Compatibility & Fitment
This wall fitting is compatible with a variety of Polaris pressure-side pool cleaner models such as the 65, 165, 180, 280, 280 TankTrax, 360, 380, 3900 Sport and 480 Pro. Before installation, verify that your cleaner uses a dedicated booster or return line and that the existing wall fitting matches this quick-disconnect style.
Installation Instructions
- Shut off the pool pump and relieve system pressure before removing any wall fitting.
- Unscrew and remove the existing fitting if damaged or leaky, clean the threads and interior of the pool return wall port.
- Apply appropriate thread sealant or Teflon tape and screw in the new 6-500-00 fitting until snug.
- Attach the cleaner hose’s quick-disconnect or swivel fitting to the collar, verify proper seating and flow.
- Restore circulation and test the cleaner’s movement, ensuring no leaks or loss of suction at the connection.
Troubleshooting
- Cleaner hoses not seating properly: Confirm the bayonet collar is intact, check for debris or damage in the fitting bayonet slots.
- Leaking at wall fitting: Check that threads are clean, sealant is properly applied and the fitting is tightened securely.
- Poor cleaner movement or suction loss: Ensure dedicated pressure line or return line is correct and the fitting is not obstructed or restricted.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect your wall fitting each service season. If the bayonet collar is cracked, the threads are worn, or the fitting leaks under pressure, replacement with the 6-500-00 can restore optimal cleaner performance and reduce downtime.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
- Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.
- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

- Pool cleaners are not eligible for return.
- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.
- Plastic popup tools are not eligible for return.
- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
