Polaris D15 Feed Hose Nut (Mender Nut) – For Polaris Pressure-Side Cleaner Feed Hose Connections

The Polaris D15 is a genuine-style feed hose nut (often called a “mender nut”) used to secure the hose swivel to the Polaris feed hose. These nuts are used throughout the modular feed hose assembly to connect hose sections together and help prevent leaks and pressure loss that can reduce cleaner performance.

How Many Do You Need?

  • 2 nuts are typically required per hose swivel connection (one nut on each side of the swivel).
  • If you’re rebuilding multiple hose joints, count the number of swivel joints and plan accordingly.

Common Signs It’s Time to Replace

  • Water spraying or leaking at a feed hose swivel connection
  • Cracked, stripped, or cross-threaded hose nut
  • Hose sections keep coming loose
  • Cleaner feels weak due to pressure loss in the feed hose

Installation Notes

  • Turn off the booster pump before servicing the cleaner hose.
  • Slide the D15 nut over the hose end, insert/seat the hose onto the swivel fitting, then thread the nut onto the swivel to secure.
  • Hand-tighten firmly. Do not over-tighten to avoid cracking plastic threads.
  • If a nut has “bonded” to the hose from age, you may need to cut the hose end and rebuild that joint.

  • Inspect hose nuts and swivels seasonally—small leaks at the hose joints can noticeably reduce cleaner speed and coverage.
  • Keep the wall fitting screen clean; restricted flow can mimic hose/joint problems.
  • Replace worn nuts and swivels together if joints keep leaking—damaged swivel threads can ruin new nuts quickly.
  • Store the feed hose out of direct sun when possible to slow UV damage and extend hose life.

  • Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
  • Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
  • We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

  • If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
