Pentair 155299 Piping Assembly with Hub (New Twist-Lock / 1/4-Turn Lateral Style) for Tagelus TA60D
The Pentair 155299 is an OEM replacement piping assembly with hub (standpipe/hub assembly) used in select Pentair PacFab Tagelus sand filters. This is the newer twist-lock / 1/4-turn lateral style assembly commonly used on TA60D filter configurations.

- Commonly specified for TA60D units manufactured after June 1, 2007 that use 1/4-turn laterals
Important: Tagelus internals changed over time. Confirm your filter model and internal lateral style before ordering. This assembly is generally associated with the new-style 1/4-turn lateral system.
What This Part Does
- Provides the internal center piping/standpipe and hub connection for the lateral assembly
- Helps distribute and collect water properly through the sand bed during filtration and backwash
- Restores proper internal flow when the original hub/pipe assembly is cracked, worn, or damaged

- Internal breakage discovered during sand change or filter service
- Poor filtration performance after ruling out sand condition and valve issues
- Sand returning to the pool (also inspect laterals and standpipe sealing points)

Installation Notes
- Turn off the pump and relieve all filter pressure before opening the filter.
- Remove sand carefully to access the internal hub and laterals.
- Verify your filter uses the 1/4-turn lateral style before installing this assembly.
- Inspect laterals, standpipe seals, and internal fittings while the filter is open; replace damaged parts as needed.
- Add water to the tank before refilling with sand to help protect internal components.
- After reassembly, backwash and rinse before returning to filter mode.

Maintenance Tips
- Backwash when pressure rises about 8–10 PSI over your clean starting pressure.
- Never change multiport valve positions while the pump is running.
- If sand returns to the pool, inspect laterals, hub connections, and standpipe sealing surfaces.
- During sand changes, inspect all internal plastic parts for hairline cracks before reassembly.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
- Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.
- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
- The Pentair Colorsync 618031 is not eligible for return.
- Pool cleaners are not eligible for return.
- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.
- Plastic popup tools are not eligible for return.
- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
