Pentair 355022S Square Flange Replacement Motor (1 HP, Single Speed, Almond)
The Pentair 355022S is an OEM replacement pool pump motor used on select Pentair WhisperFlo configurations (commonly referenced as WF-4 / WF-26). It’s a square-flange (56Y-style) motor designed to bolt directly to compatible WhisperFlo wet ends and restore normal pump operation and flow.

When to Replace the Motor
- Motor hums but won’t start, or trips the breaker on start-up
- Overheating, thermal shutdown, or intermittent operation
- Loud bearing noise (grinding/squealing) or excessive vibration
- Burnt odor, visible corrosion, or evidence of water intrusion
- Low output or inconsistent performance after confirming wet-end components are in good shape
Installation Notes
- Shut off power at the breaker and verify power is off before servicing.
- Set the motor wiring for the correct supply voltage (115V vs 208–230V) before energizing.
- Replace the mechanical shaft seal anytime the wet end is opened during a motor swap (recommended).
- Inspect the seal plate for cracks/warping and the impeller/diffuser for heat damage if the pump has run dry.
- After reassembly, prime the pump fully and check for leaks at the seal plate and plumbing connections.
Energy/Regulatory Note
- Single-speed replacement motors may be restricted in some areas (for example, certain energy-efficiency rules). Check local requirements before ordering/installation.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.

- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
