The Pentair RLYLX is a replacement 20-amp power relay kit used in compatible Pentair/Compool pool and spa automation power centers. This relay switches high-voltage loads (such as pumps, lights, blowers, or other auxiliary equipment) on and off from the automation controller. Replace it when a circuit stops switching reliably, sticks on/off, or shows signs of heat damage at the terminals.

Installation & Maintenance Tips

  • If a relay failed due to heat, inspect for loose terminals, corrosion, or undersized wiring that can cause overheating.
  • After replacement, run the load and check that the relay stays cool and the circuit switches cleanly without chatter.
  • Keep the automation enclosure dry and sealed; moisture and corrosion can shorten relay and terminal life.
  • If multiple relays are failing, verify the controlled load is not exceeding relay ratings and that supply voltage is stable.

  • Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

  • To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
  • Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
  • Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.

  • Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
  • If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
  • Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
