The Pentair Rainbow R172319 is the bottom O-ring (#128) used to seal the internal diverter tee/sleeve connection in select Pentair Rainbow in-line chemical feeders. Replacing this O-ring helps stop internal bypass and small leaks that can cause inconsistent chlorine/bromine output, air intrusion, or water seepage around the feeder body.

Installation Notes
- Shut off the pump and relieve system pressure before opening the feeder.
- Remove tablets and drain/flush the feeder as needed for safe handling.
- Disassemble to access the diverter tee/sleeve area; remove the old O-ring and clean the groove thoroughly.
- Lightly lubricate the new O-ring with silicone lubricant (never petroleum-based) and seat it evenly without twisting.
- Reassemble, restart the system, and inspect for leaks and normal feeder operation.

Maintenance Tips
- Keep feeder O-rings clean and lightly lubricated to prevent pinching during reassembly.
- Avoid over-tightening lids and fittings; excessive force can deform sealing surfaces and shorten O-ring life.
- Maintain balanced water chemistry—high pH and high calcium can increase scaling that stresses internal seals.

- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
