Applications & Compatibility
This inline thermometer is ideal for any pool or spa circulation system where an accurate reading of water temperature is required—such as monitoring heater output, solar loop temperature or general water conditions. Before purchase, verify your plumbing has the appropriate size and thread to –MNPT for proper fit.
Installation Instructions
- Shut off the pump and relieve water pressure in the line before installation.
- Select an accessible section of plumbing, and install a tees or inline fitting that accommodates the thermometer’s port size.
- Thread the SL1DW into the plumbing fitting and ensure a leak-free seal (use appropriate sealant or tape as applicable).
- Position the dial so it's easily readable from the equipment area.
- Restore circulation and verify the water temperature reading stabilizes.
Troubleshooting
- No dial movement or reading stuck: Verify the well is fully immersed in water flow and free of air pockets.
- Poor accuracy: Confirm the well is installed in full flow, avoid installing in dead-legs or low flow areas.
- Leak at connection: Ensure threads are clean, sealant applied properly, and unit is tightened securely.
Maintenance Tip
Inspect the thermometer annually for clarity of the dial and proper function. Replace if the dial becomes foggy, the well appears damaged or readings seem inconsistent. An accurate thermometer helps you monitor and manage water temperature more effectively.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.

- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
