Paramount 005152012000 In-Deck Debris Canister Lid O-Ring (DDC) – For Inside Clear Lid
The Paramount 005152012000 is a replacement lid O-ring for the Paramount in-deck debris canister (DDC). It installs in the lid groove and creates a watertight/airtight seal between the inside clear lid and the canister body to help prevent suction leaks, seepage, and loss of prime in systems that use a debris canister for in-floor cleaning or circulation.

Common Signs It’s Time to Replace

Installation Notes
- Turn off the pump before opening the canister lid.
- Remove the old O-ring and clean the groove and sealing surface (dirt and grit prevent a good seal).
- Lightly lubricate the new O-ring with silicone pool lube (do not use petroleum-based grease).
- Seat the O-ring evenly (no twists) and reinstall the lid without over-tightening.
- Restart the system and check for air/water leaks at the lid.

Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Replace the lid O-ring anytime it looks flattened or cracked—small air leaks can cause big circulation problems.
- Keep the lid and O-ring groove clean; sand and debris are common causes of repeat leaks.
- Use only a light film of silicone lube—too much lube can attract dirt and compromise sealing over time.
- If the lid still leaks with a new O-ring, inspect the lid and canister sealing surfaces for warping or damage.
