Description
This heavy-duty solar cover from Midwest Canvas is designed for above-ground and certain in-ground pools sized approximately 12 feet by 24 feet. The cover features an 8-mil thick material with thermal bubble construction and a transparent blue/clear finish to maximize solar heat absorption and retention.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Suitable for rectangular pools measuring close to 12′ × 24′ (verify pool dimensions before purchase).
- Works for above-ground applications and can also be used for some in-ground pools if size matches and attachment method allows.
- Not designed to replace structural safety or winter leaf covers — intended for solar heat capture and debris reduction during the swimming season.
Features & Specifications
- Dimensions: 12 feet by 24 feet (rectangular shape).
- Material thickness: approx. 8 mil with bubble cell technology to trap and retain heat.
- Color/finish: Transparent blue top film with clear underside to allow sun rays while reducing evaporation and heat loss overnight.

Installation Notes
Spread the cover over the pool surface with the bubble side down (toward water) so that the smooth blue side faces the sun. Trim excess material if necessary to fit between ladder and other deck fixtures. Secure the cover if needed with water bags or deck straps during windy conditions. Remove the cover for swimming and store the rolled cover in shade when not in use to extend its lifespan.
Maintenance Tip
Each season inspect the cover for boundary wear, tears or bubble collapse. Clean the cover with mild pool soap and rinse thoroughly. At the end of the season, rinse, dry partially in the sun, fold or roll loosely and store out of direct UV and wind. Re-use the cover as long as bubble inflation is adequate and it shows no major cracks — replacing when performance drops helps keep your pool warm and your chemical use optimized.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

- Pool cleaners are not eligible for return.
- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.
- Capacitors are not eligible for return.

- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
