Gladon GWW12 Replacement Filter Cartridge (GWW12)
The Gladon GWW12 is a replacement cartridge filter element used in select pool and spa cartridge filter housings. Replacing a worn cartridge helps restore normal flow, lower filter pressure, and improve water clarity when cleaning no longer brings the cartridge back to performance.
What It Does
- Traps dirt, oils, and debris in the pleated media to help keep water clear
- Supports consistent circulation and heater/salt system performance by maintaining healthy flow
- Helps prevent rapid pressure rise caused by collapsed media or clogged pleats
Compatibility / Fit Notes (Important)
- Cartridge fit depends on exact dimensions and the top/bottom opening style (open/closed ends, handle type, etc.).
- Before ordering, match your existing cartridge by: overall length, outer diameter, and top/bottom end cap opening (and any center core/handle features).
- If your filter uses multiple cartridges, replace the full set for balanced flow and filtration.

- Pleats are torn, frayed, or separating
- End caps are cracked, swollen, or detached
- Core is cracked/collapsed or the cartridge won’t hold shape
- Filter pressure rises quickly even after thorough cleaning
- Cloudy water persists with proper chemistry and run time
Cleaning & Care Tips
- Clean when pressure rises 8–10 PSI over your clean starting pressure.
- Rinse pleats top-to-bottom with a hose nozzle.
- Degrease first for oils; descale only after degreasing (never acid-wash an oily cartridge).
- Rotating a second cartridge set reduces downtime and can extend cartridge life.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.
- Please complete the return form to receive your RMA number and return shipping label.

- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
