Description

Compatibility & Fitment
- Designed for pump systems requiring a 1 HP, 115 V, single-speed motor with 3450 RPM and 48Y frame.
- Ideal upgrade or replacement when the existing motor is noisy, overheating, drawing excessive current, or is no longer serviceable.
- Direct replacement for systems specifying part number BN25V1 (and many equivalent thru-bolt motors from Century/A.O. Smith).

Installation Notes
Disconnect power and lock out the circuit before servicing. Remove the existing motor by unmounting the thru-bolt pump bracket, disconnect wiring, and extract the motor. Verify the shaft and mounting dimensions match. Install the new BN25V1 motor, connect wiring per the motor’s wiring diagram, secure the pump housing and shaft seal, restore power, prime the system, and verify correct motor operation without vibration or excessive heat.
Maintenance Tip
During each service interval inspect motor bearings for noise or vibration, check the shaft seal and mounting bolts for tightness, and verify current draw remains within spec. Replace the motor if you observe sustained high temperature, excessive noise or flow issues to maintain efficient pump system performance.

Return Policy:
- Products that are received damaged will receive a refund in store credit.
- Most products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, except where noted below.
- To initiate a return, please complete an RMA form prior to sending your item back.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the return credit.
- Items returned missing accessories or original packaging, or that are not in the same condition as received, may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 100% depending on the condition of the item upon return.
- Some returns will be charged an automatic 15% restocking fee.
- We are unable to issue refunds for items that have been damaged or rendered inoperable due to installer error.

- Chemical products are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

- Opened seals and o-rings are not eligible for return.

- Automation components and circuit boards are not eligible for return.
- If a light is returned due to a reported malfunction and is found to be fully operational upon testing, return shipping costs and a restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Orders refused at the time of delivery will be subject to the original shipping costs being deducted from the refund.
