an acid solution
to remove a thin layer of surface material,
helping eliminate certain stains and deposits.

Because ordinary acid-and-water mixtures are thin,
they can flow rapidly down vertical pool surfaces.
This may contribute to uneven cleaning or streaking.

    Bio-Dex Plaster White 'N Brite
changes the consistency of the acid-wash mixture,
helping it remain in contact with the surface
    more evenly.

The additive is also formulated to reduce acid
fumes and help limit unnecessary surface etching
when used according to the manufacturer's directions.

Improved Acid-Wash Surface Coverage

One of the primary benefits of Plaster White 'N Brite
    is its thickening action.

When incorporated into an approved acid-wash solution,
the additive helps create a mixture that clings
to pool plaster rather than immediately
    running down the walls.

This allows the cleaning solution to maintain
more consistent contact with stained areas.

Improved surface contact may help produce
a more uniform appearance after cleaning.

Reduces Acid Fumes

Muriatic acid used during conventional pool acid washing
    can release hazardous, irritating fumes.

Plaster White 'N Brite is formulated to reduce
the release of acid fumes during application.

This provides an advantage for professional
    pool cleaning applications where controlling
    airborne acid exposure is important.

    Safety Notice:
Reduced fumes do not make the mixed acid-wash
    solution nonhazardous. Appropriate ventilation,
    chemical-resistant protective equipment,
    and all required acid-handling precautions
    remain essential.

Helps Reduce Plaster Etching and Streaking

Excessive acid exposure can damage swimming pool
    plaster by removing surface material.

    The thickening properties of Bio-Dex
Plaster White 'N Brite are designed to
    promote more controlled acid application.

This may help reduce uneven surface etching
    and visible streaking compared with
    conventional acid washing.

However, acid washing remains an aggressive
    surface treatment and must be
